Out of Focus | Our Location Guide to Marlow
Marlow. A pretty Thames-side town with a proper high street (recently named by TimeOut as the best in Britain), a riverside park on the doorstep and more good places to eat than you'll manage in one visit. Everything you need is within a few minutes' walk of our store, which makes it the perfect place to wander, graze and take your time.
Here's everything we love about Marlow: the spots we keep going back to, from our favourite coffee to the best strawberries in town.
Getting Here & Parking
For the quickest access to Jam, park in Dean Street car park. It's less than a five-minute walk from our store and the high street. There are also several other car parks dotted around Marlow, all within ten minutes' walk of the high street, so you're never far from the action. Don't forget to come and see us and check out our latest new arrivals!
Coffee, Breakfast, Brunch...
The Cedar Coffee Shop is just two minutes from the store and, in our opinion, serves the best coffee in Marlow. The pastries are delicious too. Perfect for catching up with friends or grabbing a coffee to go.
The Mixing Jug is five minutes away and a lovely spot for delicious coffee, plus fresh-pressed juices and smoothies. It's spacious, so it's a great place to work or meet someone.
An absolute must when visiting Marlow is to walk through Liston Court, where you'll find a flower shop and the restaurant Satollo. It's five minutes from the store, and you can't go wrong with any of their paninis.

Megans is three minutes away and our go-to for variety on the menu and guaranteed good brunch. Order the shakshouka served on sourdough bread.
Lunch
The Chequers and The Churchill Tap are both five minutes from the store and the places for classic pub favourites in a friendly local atmosphere.
The Ivy Marlow Garden, also five minutes away, is a timeless classic with a large menu and a guaranteed good meal. It's ideal for a midweek treat or a special occasion.
Bakeries, Delis & Treats
Amorino is an eight-minute walk and the perfect stop on your way to the river. Pick up an ice cream and enjoy a summer's day stroll.
Marlow Green is just two minutes from the store, with fresh fruit and snacks. Go for the strawberries, which are the best around, and perfect for picnics. Before you head out check out or shop at 3 Spittal St where we can kit you out with jumpers or a fleece if it's getting chilly!

Best Picnic Spots
Higginson Park is ten minutes from the store and a large open space by the river. There are public toilets and a café, and the nearest parking is Pound Lane car park. Pack your strawberries and settle in.
Dinner – Our Favourite Restaurants
The Hand and Flowers is a two-Michelin-star pub just five minutes away, with a surprisingly cosy atmosphere. Booking is essential, and it's perfect for a date night or a family occasion.
Brutus is less than a minute from our door. It's Italian, friendly and fun, and ideal for meeting friends. Book ahead.
Drinks & Pubs
Montys is five minutes from the store and the spot for weekend fun. It's lively, with dancing, and you might even catch the owner wearing some Jam Industries pieces...
The Ship is a proper local pub, also five minutes away. It's cosy, with a pub garden, and perfect for meeting friends.

Walks We Love
The Thames Path is our favourite. From Jam, head down the high street towards the river (about a ten-minute walk) and you'll enter Higginson Park. Carry on to the river and follow the Thames Path as far as you like, then loop back around the back of the park to return to the high street.
Culture & Things to Do
Castle Fine Art is directly across the road from our store, so it's well worth a look if you're after some inspiration or a new piece of art.
And of course there's the River Thames itself, for a nice walk or a picnic.
If you've got a Marlow recommendation we haven't mentioned, we want to know. Find us in store or drop us a message. We take our local knowledge very seriously.
